Wolt dominates the Hungarian food delivery market and is the go-to app for locals and tourists alike. Foodpanda is a well-established food delivery platform in Hungary with a strong restaurant network. Part of the Delivery Hero group, Foodpanda has been operating in Hungary for years and has wide coverage across Budapest and other Hungarian cities. International credit cards are accepted. The app interface is primarily in Hungarian but can be navigated with basic app literacy and food photos.

Bolt Food is growing rapidly in Hungary, leveraging the popularity of Bolt ride-hailing and scooter services. Competitive pricing and frequent new-user promotions make it an attractive option. If you are already using Bolt for transportation in Budapest, the same app and account work for food delivery. International credit cards are accepted.

Budapest has a growing grocery delivery scene. Options range from rapid delivery services to full supermarket orders, all at very competitive prices.

For Airbnbs, share the buzzer code or entry information with the driver through the in-app chat. Budapest apartment buildings typically have intercom systems. Make sure your host provides the buzzer code and name. Include the floor number and apartment number or name in the delivery notes.

Budapest is split between Buda and Pest by the Danube. Addresses on the Buda (hilly) side can be trickier for delivery. On the Pest side, the grid-like street layout makes deliveries more straightforward. In either case, being responsive to driver calls and messages helps ensure smooth delivery.
